Why study the environment?
While traditional risk factors (reproductive history, lifestyle, inherited factors) tell us something about the likelihood that a woman, or a group of women, might develop breast cancer, they clearly don’t tell the whole story. Here we describe, very briefly, a sample of scientific studies that suggest that environmental factors might be connected to an increased risk for breast cancer.
